The reason they are so angry at Iran is because Iran backed fighters captured kirkuk from the kurds last year including kirkuk oil fields and cut off oil supply to israel which is where israel got most of its oil.

It's not only that imho. I believe that this is a part of the long term plan how to increase regional influence of the zionist state (greater Israel) and neutralise all it's opponents. It started with PNAC, 9/11 and invasion to Afghanistan, which, among others, shares border with Iran. Then they invaded Iraq, which was not in friendly relations with Israel and shares long borderline with Iran, too. Destabilisation of Libya opened the way for weapon smuggling operations through Egypt (and removed another non-cooperating government). Then they tried to remove Syrian government but failed because of Russian intervention. Failed coup in Turkey followed as Erdogan slowly changed his position.
I think they were forced to improvise as they did not expect direct Russian (successful) intervention at all. They are willing to go agead with regime change project in Iran tho', regardless failures in Syria and Turkey.

I really don't think so. Russia is not seeking large scale confrontation, that's all. But the whole intervention in Syria is, among others, directly against Israeli interests. It literally destroyed Tel Aviv's plans for the region. They already planned "buffer zone" reaching almost to suburbs of Damascus. "I saw the Magnitsky Behind the Scenes movie, 2 hours and 5 minutes. Very well done. The producer is anti Putin Russian human rights guy who initially buys Browder's story hook line and sinker. As he's editing the movie certain things fail to add up and he starts digging further eventually confronting Browder with additional questions and information. In the end the producer and Browder get into a heated confrontation (real, and all part of the movie) and then the producer exposes Browder's activities and the Magnitsky fraud for what it is.

The Iran sanctions have officially been cast. These are the most biting sanctions ever imposed, and in November they ratchet up to yet another level. Anyone doing business with Iran will NOT be doing business with the United States. I am asking for WORLD PEACE, nothing less!
