Govt manipulation and control on a truly mind boggling scale. We see manipulations going on already in the past several years if US social media discussions are to go by at least. Take GLP for example - many years ago the discussions, weren't revolving around the politics of liberal vs conservative, left vs right, free market vs regulated market and so on. (no offence intended towards TOM)
Instead, the discussions back then were regarding the people vs corrupt government in its different forms, as well as other non-political discussions. Now you go on twitter, reddit, facebook, GLP anything and all these sites are for the most part(but not always) discussing/debating the same junk, as if there is a narrative being dictated.
I sometimes wonder if the US political discussions we see being spread online are a microcosm of the US population's thoughts at large or if there is really just an insane amount of sock puppetry going on.
Whistleblowers is another thing. I wonder how many potential Edward Snowdens have been 'dealt with' that we don't ever hear about.

Also veterans, who personally experienced fakery behind the doctored conflicts and witnessed criminal nature of such wars as in Iraq, Syria or Libya, being targeted by the swarms of shills and cointelpro operatives, who, disguised as patriots and America firsters, promote interests of special interest groups, foreign Israeli and Saudi lobbies and their orange god, who personally benefits from ongoing horendous defense budget increase. Suddenly, the exactly same alphabet agencies, that were blamed for murders and spying on own citizens and doctoring fake intell reports, became credible source of informations for alleged conspiracy and truther communities.
Meanwhile, nothing changed, even little bit, as we can clearly see on this Net Neutrality example and AT&T/NSA involvement. I wrote it once already: they created internet, and expecially such services as Facebook, YouTube or Twitter, to impose mass mind control. They attracted billion of world citizens with ostensible freedom of speech and expression and now they are going to take controll over the minds of hundreds of million of people. The whole this hate speech and fake news crackdowns, NSA control over internet connection providers, all of this heads towards the global censorship. Even victory of ostensible anti-globalist Trump...

I'm back.I can say for a fact that the media has been VERY successful in dividing the population of this country along political lines. People who I know that used to be what I'd call rational Liberals are now raging maniacs. I can say the same for Republicans. Being a Libertarian, I am sort of a mix - I'm fiscally conservative, but I feel the government doesn't belong in our personal lives. States should have more control than the Fed. Live and let live, as long as no one is harming anyone. Anyhoo, people here can't sit down and have a rational conversation about their opposing views. Conversations have become much like internet forums where trolls start throwing fits and shouting the rhetoric of their side.
All of that to say that I honestly am of the opinion that places like GLP, that used to be a place where thinkers hung out and discussed a full range of topics, are now full on political engineering. I am convinced that social media was created to further control the population. Many thinkers don't watch television, where the first wave of programming happened for the non-collegiate people. Social media crept into everyone's lives and the swaying of public opinion followed shortly thereafter.
Anyway, sorry for the rant - but I think the answer to your question lies somewhere in between the microcosm of the US public, and alphabet agencies feeding the population the information they want to influence them.
And I'm fairly certain there are leakers out there - they just haven't been outed yet.

The Israeli military has prepared plans for a full-scale invasion of the occupied Gaza Strip, in the event of a serious escalation in the south, according to a report by Israeli news site Ynet.
Veteran correspondent Ron Ben-Yishai, citing unnamed Israeli military officials, wrote that the army “is already considering alternatives to the Hamas government”, should the latter not cooperate in efforts to establish an economic-security “arrangement” in Gaza agreeable to the Israelis.
“There is a feeling in the [Israeli army’s] Southern Command that, this time, the IDF will be able to create a considerable change in the situation if it is required to launch a major campaign in Gaza,” wrote Ben-Yishai.

Last time Israel entered Gaza they suffered massive casualties in just one neighbourhood called Shuja'iyya and we're forced to withdraw, So they have no chance of capturing Gaza all they can do is bomb it from the air but hamas are protected now because of the tunnels so even air strikes won't do much but kill civilians.

Whistleblowers is another thing. I wonder how many potential Edward Snowdens have been 'dealt with' that we don't ever hear about.
I can say for a fact that the media has been VERY successful in dividing the population of this country along political lines. People who I know that used to be what I'd call rational Liberals are now raging maniacs. I can say the same for Republicans. Being a Libertarian, I am sort of a mix - I'm fiscally conservative, but I feel the government doesn't belong in our personal lives. States should have more control than the Fed. Live and let live, as long as no one is harming anyone. Anyhoo, people here can't sit down and have a rational conversation about their opposing views. Conversations have become much like internet forums where trolls start throwing fits and shouting the rhetoric of their side.
All of that to say that I honestly am of the opinion that places like GLP, that used to be a place where thinkers hung out and discussed a full range of topics, are now full on political engineering. I am convinced that social media was created to further control the population. Many thinkers don't watch television, where the first wave of programming happened for the non-collegiate people. Social media crept into everyone's lives and the swaying of public opinion followed shortly thereafter.
Anyway, sorry for the rant - but I think the answer to your question lies somewhere in between the microcosm of the US public, and alphabet agencies feeding the population the information they want to influence them.
And I'm fairly certain there are leakers out there - they just haven't been outed yet.

Actually, according this map everything north of Busra al.Harir should be under SAA since yesterday. Overnight they took Busra, which is first major town in ongoing operation taken back under the Syrian control.

you're right guys, Lajat area fell over night. But no media in the west is interested in this war for a while now. We cant blame them tho all their proxies and schemes have been exposed. So western media and their governments are holding their head in the sand when it comes to Syria. They're holding their hand in the sand on other issues as well.
