This is the globalists standard operating procedure, that has mutated to no elections at all in the case of Ukraine now.

I didn't vote in the so called Scottish Independence referendum in 2014 for that reason and after reading the small print on the government website, which clearly stated that a YES vote meant keeping the English pound, the Bank of England and the English royal family, to stay in the British Commonwealth, EU, NATO, UN and WHO, plus apart from anything else I wasn't in the country in the required 6 weeks or whatever it was in the run up to it.

So it clearly was a con from the start as none of that equal independence of any kind.

But that didn't stop others voting and in great numbers and that put the the fear of death into them, so David Cameron PM of the UK at the time and direct descendant of an English, Jamaican slave owing family, who as UK PM had the hard neck to stand up and tell the Jamaicans that they should forget about that history and there was no money for them from the UK as compensation.

Cameron was summoned by the queen and then rushed to Scotland to push for a NO vote win...which they did illegally with MI5, police, or whoever they employed to get it over the line, were caught on camera for a lot of it. The mail in ballot was the big thing, but the following video shows the blatant violation of anything you would have called democracy.
