Good thing I avoid Comcast. They suck.
Unfortunately those large, multinational corporations, invovled in internet services (and big opponents of Net Neutrality) also provides their infrastructure for numbers of smaller providers. So other companies, and their customers, are affected, too.

We have such classic, old fairytale movie called "Proud Princess". One of parts of the plot is that there are two kingdoms. They cut the wrong wire this time I guess...
No big deal for them in terms of potential penalties I reckon. Net neutrality is gone, so this outage can probably be considered as the legal blocking/throttling of internet service.

There's not a great deal of news about Libya on the mainstream channels. Mostly it's focused on UN, other governing parties, migrants and oil. After reading smaller sources which discuss the people, I would not want to live there right now. Very scary place where the vulnerable can be roasted over an open fire, soccer stadium set alight,..and the blue tongue diseased sheep making their way to market. Not that it can make you sick but still..
