imo Sadr is a manchurian who wields enormous power (kind of like Haftar/Libya or Erdo/Turkey or Lukashenko/Belarus).
basically a VERY clever political snake who 'straddles' and plays off competing 'interests' against one another under the cloak of 'patriotism'.
