It this the climax of Yemeni war?

They still hold Yemeni capital, Sanaa. So I expect that this will be the climax. However, this Hudaydah battle will be very important. And it will be humanitarian disaster, too.

AT&T, for example, was accussed of cooperation with NSA, allowed agency's agents to monitor phone and Internet communications of AT&T customers without warrants.

Yet another proof how disastrous is Trump's decision and how largerly it props up special interest groups, which he criticized so much during his campaign.

What's more, Afaik Trump made no mention of being in favour of repealing net neutrality during his election campaign.

Net neutrality is no minor topic and the attempt to repeal was already being lined up before Trump came into office, yet he never made any mention of his stance on the campaign trail.

You can never really fully trust polls of course, but the one I saw said 90℅ were in favour of keeping Net neutrality. It's little wonder why Trump kept his intention to help repeal it under wraps...

This is interesting. Especially after current Muqtada's meetings with Soleimani and other pro-Iranian figures within Iraq.

I'm just reading a quote from Salvini more closely and it seems that he said Italy won't have migrants sent to Italy under orders of NGOs, however he doesn't say that Italy itself won't accept them anymore. As it was proved today where it was not an NGO ship this time but an Italian coast guard vessel that delivered the thousand or so migrants.

@dwnews

Italy said its decision to shut its ports to migrants aboard charity ship #Aquarius was firm. "We won't change (our position) on ships belonging to NGOs," said Interior Minister @matteosalvinimi.

"Ships belonging to foreign organizations can't dictate Italy's migration policy."

The other day he was also talking about the other EU countries not taking their share of migrants. I think this means he's saying Italy will be willing to take the illegal immigrants so long as other EU countries share the burden and take some too. Spain took some the other day, now Italy takes some migrants today to be seen as fair... and so the relentless waves of migration is encouraged to continue...

Only two days ago it was being reported that it was actually Putin who was the sell out by allowing Williams to have a role in the WC opening ceremony, because the singer had previously made a song mocking Russia as an autocratic society.

Donald Trump has declared that North Korea is no longer a nuclear threat, following his summit with Kim Jong-un.

The two leaders met on Tuesday, signing a brief declaration on denuclearisation and reducing tensions.

After arriving back in the US, the president also tweeted that "everybody can now feel much safer".

Egypt has been ranked the safest country in Africa and higher than both the UK and US, according to a new global poll.

The survey placed Egypt 16th out of 135 countries, while the UK was 21st and the US 35th.

Radical plan to split California into three states earns spot on November ballot

California’s 168-year run as a single entity, hugging the continent’s edge for hundreds of miles and sprawling east across mountains and desert, could come to an end next year — as a controversial plan to split the Golden State into three new jurisdictions qualified Tuesday for the Nov. 6 ballot.

If a majority of voters who cast ballots agree, a long and contentious process would begin for three separate states to take the place of California, with one primarily centered around Los Angeles and the other two divvying up the counties to the north and south. Completion of the radical plan — far from certain, given its many hurdles at judicial, state and federal levels — would make history.

It would be the first division of an existing U.S. state since the creation of West Virginia in 1863.

Funny, I never felt unsafe because of North Korea. There are no North Korean military convoys driving through my country that should make me feel unsafe. Contrary to the American ones...
